Cobs are incredibly strong and without horses and ponies we would not have been able to produce food or travel around in the days before we had cars and tractors!

BREED HISTORY
Sonny is a cross breed of a Welsh Cob and a Friesian. Welsh cobs date back to the 18th century, and Friesians originate from the Netherlands in the 17th century
OUR PURPOSE
Cobs were often used for pulling small carts and farming equipment before we had cars and tractors! Sonny is now retired and fills his days eating grass and meeting visitors.
