BREED HISTORY
Boer goats are originally from South Africa! They came over to Britain in 1987. Since this time, the number of Boer goats in Britain has quickly increased. They are a very docile breed and can become very friendly like ours here at Forge Mill Farm!
OUR PURPOSE
Boer goats are bred for their meat. This is because they grow very quickly and have alot more muscle than dairy goats like out Golden Gurnseys.
