Summer at the farm
This summer, Forge Mill Farm has an exciting new programme for visitors to encounter farming with a new experience in our 4 zones this summer! Including learning more about our machinery, discovering where our food comes from, meeting and learning about the animals, and have a go activities in the challenge zone. Plus, for selected weeks only, Explore our gorgeous sunflower field (keep an eye out for opening dates on our social media)!
Each week we will have a new set of activities, demonstrations and challenges for you to come and discover plus all the usual fun on the farm! Check out our Facebook page for up to date information on what’s happening each week!
Stay as long as you like and visit our shop on the way out to pick up a hot drink or ice cream and some souvenirs or local produce to take home.

Got a SEND child or young person? Check out our SEND early access tickets to arrive before the crowds and play in the barn before it gets busy for the day.
NATURAL PLAY BARN
Have a go on our purpose built indoor adventure play area. You asked so we built it… the Natural Play Barn and indoor picnic area are open for you to explore with new toilets, indoor seating, classroom & party room! Book your 1 hour play slot (£3.00 add on per child, Under 14s ) by selecting the add on option below! Under 2’s are free and don’t need a ticket to the play area. Grab a drink or a snack from of pop up shop in bring a picnic to enjoy.
We are open 10 am until 4:30pm, this ticket is for the Whole day, Arrive anytime you like after 10am and before 3:30 pm
