Summer at the farm
This summer, Forge Mill Farm has an exciting programme for visitors to encounter farming with every week a different theme, including learning more about our machinery, seeing where some of our food comes from, meeting the animals, protecting the environment and exploring our gorgeous sunflower field (selected weeks, weather dependant)!
Each week we will have a new theme for you to come and discover with activities & demonstrations plus all the usual fun on the farm! Check out our Facebook page for up to date information on the theme of the week.
Stay as long as you like and visit our shop on the way out to pick up a hot drink or ice cream and some souvenirs or local produce to take home.
NEW in 2024! – NATURAL PLAY BARN
Have a go on our all new purpose built indoor adventure play area. You asked so we built it… the new Natural Play Barn and indoor picnic area opened for the first time ever last summer with new toilets, indoor seating, classroom & party room! Book your 1 hour play slot (£3.00 add on per child, Under 14s ) by selecting the add on option below! Under 2’s are free and don’t need a ticket to the play area. Grab a drink or a snack from of pop up shop in bring a picnic to enjoy.
